Turfing

Is your lawn looking past its best? Are there bald patches on the lawn or are you thinking of having a lawn laid?

The preparation of having a lawn laid is essential. Scattering grass seed is one way, however there is an advantage of having turf laid, that way you get an instant lawn without waiting and wondering if the grass seed is sufficiently spread and growing well. Both require the same preparation and both require a little maintenance initially to ensure the turf has bedded in and the joins are knitted together.

The area to be turfed is cleared, raked, and any weeds or plant growth is removed

Finished, the area has been turfed and will need regularly watering and not walked on for a few weeks to get the lawn established.
